Cocktails with Courtney ~ April 99

April Fools day is a great day to have a party because if you make any goofs (like switching the street address of the venue) you can say it was all a big joke anyway! Despite the challenge I created for guests, a good group of people arrived at my cocktail party throughout the nice spring night and enjoyed cocktails in Circa Tabac, the 20s-styled speakeasy. Randall McCallum, chairman & corporate evangelist of Totally Hip Software and the sponsor for the evening, gave demos of his company's product throughout out the night to a wide range of interested individuals. After hors d'ouevres were passed around, Randall and I climbed a top bar stools for some welcoming and introductory remarks. Teetering atop the stools, we then raffled off 7 (that's right, SEVEN) full-fledged copies of their LiveStage program, chocolate Easter bunnies (Hunny Bunch and Sweetie Pie), Peeps, and other assorted novelties.
