April 6, 1999: The Society of Internet Advancement San Francisco (www.siasf.org), a local non-profit association of Internet industry professionals, will be hosting an online communities panel. Designed as an educational, informational, and creative exchange of ideas, the upcoming panel will discuss several key elements of online communities. The SI@SF panel will discuss “sticky” features and services, how advertisers and marketers can capitalize, and what can be done to create a strong brand.
