From the Wheelhouse, the captain sets course and speed.




This is the motto that greets you on Wheelhouse.com's Website and on the invitation to their launch party. Thursday evening, June 15, CEO Brian Carty welcomed four groups of people: clients and future clients, employees and future employees, and a handful of press folks like me. David Borowich, senior engagement leader of Wheelhouse, introduced me to Mary Ellen Georgas, director of Scient, and Chaya Cooper, CEO of Click2fit.com. I chatted for a bit with Doug Donovan of Forbes, who introduced me to Jim Regan of Myutility.com and John Regan of Salomon Smith Barney. After scanning the full fresh sushi bar and massive dessert table, I met Lisa Williams, a consultant to Wheelhouse, and saw David "Sound-byte Man" Gardner of SmartRay.com. Alexandra Sheller of Aperture Inc. and I met Norv Clontz of Arthur Andersen over our refreshing beverages, and as I was making my way out I met Kevin, who was in the same improv comedy group with me about six years ago!
