A fine example of the global network comes from our Canadian neighbors. Ubi Soft
will be presenting the pilot for the animated series " Rayman " at Milia on 2/9/99.
Rayman is a hero of console and computer games and educational games and "is off
again on new, and very animated, adventures!" Ubi Soft develops this product with
French design teams, Canadian production teams and American partners to create a
multicultural cartoon for the world market. The group relied on outside sources for
help in achieving "linear" quality screen-writing equivalent to that found in the
game-design of its computer and console products. The new stories, excellent design,
variety of characters and places, and their fine modeling have already gone into the
interactive follow-ups to Rayman.
