Holy Holiday

Befittingly, Redwood Partners hosted their holiday party on the
first night of Hannukah in the Angel Orensanz Center on Norfolk
Street. Redwood's first employee and party planner extraordinaire
Kailah Rovin greeted me in a festive red cashmere halter top.
She quickly introduced me to one of her great friends - GiantBear's
Allison Bank. VentureSurf's Justin Model introduced me to Alan Rosenberg and Ilene Marcus, e-procurement officers at the Mayor's Office of Operations. Not soon after, I saw Mark Matias and Applied Theory's Matthew Gershner. Jumpcut's Marc Scarpa and Atlas Venture's Claudio Bertuccioli were chatting with Redwood CEO Mike Flannery when
Redwood's VP Marcelo Wainberg and Managing Director Randy Schoenfeld
joined us. The speakers pumped out loud music, which encouraged some
of the more energetic partiers to get out and boogie. Sharespan's Joe
Rubin introduced me to Cara Robino. Everyone's chests glowed red or
green from dangly little lights on elastic cords, and as the music
got louder I bid my adieus. I bundled up for a brisk walk home and
chatted with Louis Cattaruzza B2Bnetwork.com. The first day of Winter was brisk and chilly, and the first day of Hannukah was warm and cheery - and it all happened on December 21st.
