The Yanks Did It Again

Not a technology story per se, but lots of Dot-Coms were enjoying the view of the World Series Championship parade from their new downtown locations. Kids, parents and friends of Organic.com-ers got to paper the hallways with confetti. Vice President of Communications Strategy Cathy Taylor told me they "were successful at throwing [the paper] out the windows, but it was so windy out that a fair amount of it blew back in." Rumor has it that their Organic banner made it onto New York 1, so they may have gotten some free advertising out of the deal. And apparently people took the opportunity to throw business cards from their windows on West 23rd Street. Yahoo!
