Women are the future redux

If there seems to be a trend, especially this week, it is that women are
the future. Women.com focused on this topic at its Women.future event on
Wednesday, April 5th. In addition to having some of the world's most
respected women in their fields speaking, the event was broadcast via
satellite around the world for global participation. Josie Natori and
Lillian Vernon covered topics like “How women influence marketing and
consumption of goods.” Rt. Honorable Kim Campbell, Consul General of Canada
and former Prime Minister of Canada, and Anita Roddick, founder and
co-chair, The Body Shop International PLC, offered their thoughts on how
women's style of leadership has changed work environments and the world
beyond. Pamela Thomas-Graham, President & CEO, CNBC.com and Executive VP of
NBC, and Bernee Strom, President, InfoSpace Ventures LLC, encouraged women
to take advantage of the risks and promises of new media to further their
careers. It's all online at: http://www.women.com/womenfuture/index2.html
