Cone Inc., a strategic marketing communications firm dedicated to the new
and innovative, is quickly expanding with three new accounts.

Rhizome.org launched the Rhizome ArtBase, the first online preservation archive of Internet art, at <www.rhizome.org/artbase>. Internet art is the most significant new art medium since video, but it also the most vulnerable of art media; a systems administrator can delete art history with the click of a mouse. Already many early works of Internet art have disappeared. The Rhizome ArtBase addresses this urgent problem by preserving copies of Internet artworks in an online database.
