85th Anniversary of the Independence of Finland

Consul General Jukka Leino and Eva Leino were outfitted in their traditional Finnish finery as they greeted guests at the 85th anniversary celebration of the Independence of Finland on Friday, December 6th at the UN Plaza. While there were many Finns swimming around the sleek room, sampling vodkas and salmon appetizers, I met a few non-Finns too.
