NYTimes article: I forgot to mention last week, if you hadn't seen the November 23rd New York Times Sunday Business section, there was a mention of yours truly in the well written article by Janet Stites on the NYNMA's Super Cyber Suds. If you didn't see it, you can search for it online.
Metro Learning Channel "MetroByte:" If you live in Manhattan then you can't see this station as its not available yet in NYC, but viewers in the Tri-State area had the opportunity to see Melissa Roberson, vice president, BarnesandNoble.com and myself discuss buying books online and the differences between various book selling sites, Monday December 14th at 8:00 PM.
Netslaves.com. A true community site created by Bill Assard and Steve Baldwin. Want to commiserate about how no one understands it was just bad luck (and timing) to have four jobs in six months? They're interviewing and you can post in the "Screams from our readers" section. The Studs Terkel of the 90's these two guys are putting the stories of the little guys (and gals) out there for the world to see.

Please feel free to check out these publications for more writing on New York new media by yours truly.

Don't forget to look out for me on Tuesday, June 30th on the Metro Learning Channel at 5pm.

Don't forget to look out for me on Tuesday, June 16th on the Metro Learning Channel show "MetroWorks." I'll be there with famed Bobby Rivers, of Good Day New York, talking about what's hot and what's not of Silicon Alley!

April showers bring May flowers and May hailstorms bring June brainstorms. (or so we hope!) I am beginning to compile a list of my favorite restaurants and bars in the Alley, as an easy resource for people who want to get together. I invite all of you to submit your favorite places (and discuss them too!) to any one of these places.

Last but not least is a bit of social news from @NY's correspondents' corner. Long-time @NY contributor Tami Luhby, a reporter for the American Banker, announced her engagement to beau Ed Purce, a hard-boiled Bronx prosecutor. The couple, who met when they worked at The Riverdale Press with Tom Watson, are planning a spring 1999 wedding.

ONLY A FEW HOURS after they made the scene at Mark Stahlman's party, Microsoft technical evangelist Howard Greenstein and his wife Pamela were in a northern New Jersey hospital. The next day, Howard and Pamela announced the birth of their first child -- dubbed Baby 1.0 by Howard but more affectionately known as Brooke Danielle Greenstein. This little package of joy is fully compatible with Internet Explorer 4.0 and will be bundled with a pink blanket. Stay tuned for a pic!
