On Thursday, September 21, New Canaan, CT based e-Media threw a
dual-coast party in their new Stamford, CT and Portland, OR
offices. With the help of a two-way webcast, e-Media's founder and
CEO John Engel said he eventually hoped to expand to Toyko and
Paris offices in the future. e-Media also unveiled a new orange and
black logo. In their spacious space in the tres chic River Bend
Center business complex, guests enjoyed tropical drink specialties
and good food. Organized by Michelle Spade, of the Portland
offices, there were tasty hors d'oeuvres and guests got to enjoy
terrific music and dancing. I chatted with Penton Media's Dara
Tyson and Reba Beeson, a financier, was full of great ideas for
business and networking. e-Media specializes in broadband video
streaming applications and e-commerce for entertainment, distance
learning, and b2b.
