'Nother "Small Affair" (NYNMA kickoff event)

Never one to shy away from a pre-party, another orange-logoed new media entity, NYNMA, hosted a kickoff event for their Super CyberSuds on Monday, October 18th. Sponsored by Lucent Technologies & New York City Economic Development Corporation, the kickoff was held at the sleek and spacious Gallery at Metropolitan Pavilion, just upstairs from where the big-brouhaha will occur on Monday, October 25th. Just a mere 200 people joined NYNMA and their sponsors for their intimate soiree. The EDC's Michael Carey, Justin Model and Bernadette O'Leary were there hobnobbing around with the likes of Mads Lillelund and Bob Hess from Lucent and Ericsson CyberLab NY's classy-dresser Donna Campbell. Proxicom's Peter Ziesman and Real Media's Dave Morgan and other slick cyberees joined NYNMA's Board members Mike Wheeler and Eric Goldberg and some exhibitors and sponsors (Angeltips.com, iStreamTV, Snickelways Interactive, Solbright, ePromos, Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison, Update Graphics, Morrison & Foerster, & PR21) for some lively jazz keyboarding. Pasta with a hint of orange flavoring made on-the-spot, filled the tummies of guests and even Flooz.com floozers took time out from their party, going on nearby, to make to some schmoozing. And don't forget to stop by the real event on Monday, October 25th.
